A chartered plane carrying Whitney Place at Northborough Resident veteran Bob Rochette was greeted by an official water salute after landing in Baltimore, MD. Sponsored by the New England chapter of the nonprofit organization Honor Flight, the transport brought several World War II, Korean War and terminally ill veterans on a free round-trip to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials.
