Respite Stays

RES•PITE (ˈres-ˌpīt) N. A short period of rest or relief.

Many participants in our Adult Day Health Center take advantage of our Whitney Place Assisted Living respite program on our campus. Clients are able to stay in a beautiful, furnished, vacant apartment with assistance. The program is geared for participants with cognitive impairment. The person’s carepartner gets the time they need for vacation and other matters with peace of mind, knowing the person they care for is in good hands with our trained professionals. It may be possible for a client to have a respite stay at Beaumont at Natick, if more appropriate, as well. If space is not available on the Natick campus, another SALMON location may be able to accommodate the person. Please speak to the director for more details.
