SALMON Communities Named Among the Best Nursing Homes in the U.S.
Beaumonts earn national designation
Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Centers at Westborough, Worcester and Northbridge have all been named among the best nursing homes in the country by U.S. News and World Report.
The renowned media company named the communities top nursing homes using a number of measures including state-conducted health inspections, amount of nurse staffing and measures of medical quality as part of its annual review of nursing homes across the country.
All reviewed nursing homes received one of five overall ratings – high performing, better than average, average, worse than average or poor. Nursing homes with relevant volume also received one of three short-stay rehab ratings – high performing, average or below average. Nursing homes including Beaumont with a “high performing” overall rating or an “average” or above short-stay rating earned status as U.S. News-trademarked Best Nursing Home.
“These awards across our SALMON communities reinforce the validity of our mission to provide the highest possible quality of care in the state,” said SALMON Health and Retirement Director of Operations Ed Blake. “This distinction serves as encouragement to continue to provide cutting-edge healthcare solutions to adults across Massachusetts.
