Repeat success at 5-star community
For the second year in a row, Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center at Northbridge, a 5-star community, has received a deficiency-free rating from the state Department of Public Health.
After an exhaustive examination of our operation, state officials found no flaws to report in the 2016 annual required survey.
“We’re very pleased, of course, since this rating is similar to winning a gold medal,” reports Matt Salmon, CEO of SALMON Health and Retirement.
State officials analyzed factors including the building’s environment, dietary procedures, cleanliness, medicine policy and safety, in addition to Resident care.
They also interviewed several Residents, family members and employees and analyzed 24 patient records in great detail.
“It makes me feel very proud of the team,” Debbie Yedinak, Director of Nurses added. “It can be quite a challenge taking care of people the way we do at Beaumont. Our employees really do treat our Residents like their own family.”
The annual survey is one of many factors determining Beaumont’s 5-star national rating from CMS (the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services).
Says Salmon, “Receiving a ‘perfect’ survey like this takes the entire team working together. Everyone there has contributed to Northbridge’s success, and our organization is proud of them all and stronger as a result.”
